Matrina's isn't just the name of my empanada business; it's a tribute to cherished memories and flavors from my childhood. Every summer vacation, during our family visits to Punto Fijo, I was always the one craving Matrina's homemade empanadas. Matrina, my mother's aunt, was a beloved figure known for her legendary empanadas, which were famous in our community as part of her legacy. Naming my business Matrina's is my way of sharing those unforgettable flavors with others, hoping to bring the same joy and satisfaction they brought to me and my loved ones.
